Copied Content Problem? Can I do this?

I have site about German Poems.. What can I do ? ?

I cann't write it my self of course

1)Can I copy content from other site?
2)what kind of content should I add on my site?
3) google will penal me?

Well recently I had an article shut down because I used some of my husband's photos and they thought I was stealing his words because I was writing under my pen name. I am so scared of doing any duplicate content now even with accreditation it's not funny.. I would make sure to properly credit EVERYTHING you do and be very careful. Nothing like going to your site one day and getting the 404. URGH

Build a website about something you can write about.

Or do translations, comments, reviews of these poems if you really are into German poems.

Provide unique content don't copy from other.... hire a professional writer and continue ...

Did you buy this German Poem site?

why it is ilegal people are making site about poems about love and write poems on there page(this poems is not written by them of course ) I have one idea If I made images by this photos?? google beat me? I think only google because this poems is free to share.. and is written in last century or before...

if you are going to republish it and promote your site the its a no no because that is plagiarism and google hates it.

1 no you cannot not unless you're not going to promote it and add or thank the owner of the content.
2 quality and to the point contents
3 well that depends the main problem you're going to have is the ranking. plus the duplicate content which leads to confusion of google bots and crawlers.

Unique content is very important so copying content won't help you.
