Some dude from the uk, keeps clicking on my ad for other keywords in which my offer shows up for. He has accumulated over 12+ clicks and google has charged me. I have excluded his IP address, but thats not going to reover the $8 he has cost me on my campaign. Is there any way of preventing something like this in the future?

It is recommended to use some PPC click fraud tools with nice reporting system and report Google about the situation including the full detail of the case . Mike |

That sucks, you would think Google would have a system in place to figure out what is going on.

There are several companies that deal directly with click fraud issues. They work with you to recover money from the PPC search engines if and when fraudulent clicks exist. These pay per click audit firms include Who’sClickingWho.com, TrackingROI.com, ClickDetective.net, ClickLab. Also, you can take fraud data to Google and demand a refund for the fraudulent portion on the basis that they shouldn't be making money on what can be demonstrated to be fraudulent. |

well, google might have known it might be an act of fraud, they were probably banking in the possibility of you not taking any actions on the $8 you lost! imagine the billions, trillions of clicks that google has "closed one eye" on, that might probably constitute to a large percentile of their revenue pie!

I remember as soon as I learned that those ads were pay per click I didn't click them. Kind of like bad karma.
