Can You Beat The Following Websites...?

Hello Warriors

I'm new to the SEO website game and had lost too much money by experimenting on my own.

I need some expert advice. I'm competing in the South African internet market. The top two websites for "car insurance" is the following:

1st - Cheap Car Insurance - South Africa
2nd - CAR INSURANCE | Quotes, Companies, Advice, South Africa

Will you be able to beat those two sites? How long will it take you?

yes..nothing is impossible in world ....They dont have that much high that cant be beaten..

I don't yet have a website I first want to convince myself that I'll be able to beat those two websites within 3 months. That's why I'm asking you guys for advice!

Nothing is impossible on planet earth.
The first site is a lower PR 3 site with alexa traffic ranking of 784233 and the next was more formidable at PR 4 with thoudands or backlinks.

I am not an SEO but the first can be easier to beat since it has less links.

My way would be to get as much one way backlink from a PR 4 to 9 sites. Or simply get Angela Edwards Backlinks package and make a good on site SEO and outside SEO.

Submit to article directory like EZ and Goarticles and preferably a website that is WP blog. what I mean is make a site that looks like those WP blogs so you can update everyday and you can have the option of a static website.

Saidar.. there's a lot to consider here.. how old is your website? Where is it hosted? What's the site suffix?

To get first page rank on car insurance - Google Search= would be real easy, but to get to the number 1 spot.. hmm.. that might take a bit of time. You'd be better off with 2 front page listings, which would probably get more traffic than the top spot.

So I should create two car insurance sites and hope both of them appear on the front page? Sounds like a plan...

I haven't made a website yet I first need to see if it's possible to beat those two websites. I'm not going to start something and not be sure it's going to work. I've done that too many times and every time I failed

At the moment I have an insurance website but it's optimized for auto insurance and not car insurance. The auto insurance first page sites are heavily competitive so I'm more interested in car insurance... I used this website for adwords so there's not much content

I would say it is possible to beat any of them say in about 6 months max. The tips given by Oling is quite useful

No you want all the link and PR juice going to one site, not two. You can get to the front page in a few months no problem if you engineer it properly, probably just not the number 1 spot for a while.

Ok will do. I have learned a lot about SEO on this forum and from books that I read so I will take time and perfect the seo of the website, then I will get links from those links packages that everyone always talks about.

Any idea how many links I can get in the beginning without google seeing it as spam?
