As we know search engines see minor variations in a URL as different sites, e.g. with and without "www", with and without "/" at the end. An addon domain is treated like a subdomain by the host. So you can access your site either directly by typing the real domain (e.g. domain2.com) or via a subdomain of your other domain (e.g. www.domain2.domain1.com). So my question is, does using an addon domain have an impact SEO-wise? |

Hi there, Using an add-on doman is fine from an SEO point of view. It's sub-domains you should avoid (generally speaking). Google will see add-on domains no differently. Cheers, John. |
