How Long Is It Before My Squidoo Lens Gets Picked Up By Google?

Usually I make tons of Squidoo Lens' at a time and never really pay attention to how quick they get picked up in Google.. But I'm actually trying something different and I'm focusing 100% of my time and effort into promoting this one lens..

Any idea how long it is before it usually gets picked up by search engines? Like a week maybe?

Yes I'm positive it will get picked up, all my lens' make the front page of Google

Just curious

squidoo gets indexed really fast! mine got it under 24hrs.. google loves it

If you want exceptionally fast indexing create a page at Welcome to WiseWeber

In most cases its 24 hours or less.

I usually submit a blog post on about 3 blogs all with a backlink to my lens. Then I will also ping my lens through Squidutils. Usually I then get indexed within 24 hours.

Just put your lens in your signature and make a few post. Then bookmark your lens at digg. Ping your lens and also your digg and it should be indexed pretty quickly.

I've noticed with mine (I've only made 4 lenses, so I don't have much data) they get ranked right away and stay there for a few weeks. Then they disappear for a week or so, and come back a little higher than they were before the disappearing act.

I submitted my Squidoo RSS feed to feedage and my lens got indexed within 24 hours.

If you submit your lens to the major social bookmarking sites and join loads of Squidoo groups then you should be able to get it indexed in the search engines in less than a week.

submit your lens to digg, delicious, propeller, stumble upon and it should be up in 24 hours
