Adwords taking longer to approve campaigns now?

Before, I used to create a new campaign and see it getting
impressions within 3-4 hours.

Now, I created a campaign about 2 days ago and the status
is still "Pending review".

Are any of you having the same problem too?

Also, is it true that search campaigns get approved faster
than content network campaigns?

I just setup my adsense and I wonder how long would it take to review my campaign.

I think part of the reason is that they are more careful in their scanning now but also that they simply have more campaigns to review than they ever did before.

I'm waiting 8 days already to get a campaign approved...
