Default Backlink pain or pleasure?

I've recently started implementing backlinking strategies for a couple of my sites in order to get a better PR. It's exciting to watch my sites climb the ranks and I can tell you this stuff really works. As I sat at my computer at 11 pm last night, cranking out these backlinks, I realised really how time consuming it can be. Now I know about outsourcing and I have considered it before, but I'm not that comfortable going down that road; at least not right now.

With so many keywords to target, it seems like this may be a major part of my business. I'm trying to find that happy medium. Any of you Warriors have an easier way of getting this done without outsourcing?

Hi elitementor,

It depends, again, on a couple of paths you wish to take.

You can go Black Hat and start spamming the World Wide Web, making it not a nicer place for everyone in general. Software does that: SENuke.com. It's not an affiliate link because I'm not comfortable promoting it. I'll only go so far as Grey Hat.

White Hat: The good old, slow and steady wins the race, 100% way to work that you're currently implementing always works. It's just about finding new ways to build backlinks. I recommend something like 30 Minute Backlinks, by Michelle Macphearson for a little something different that also works.

Hope this helps. =]

Cheers,

Johnson.

Intrepreneur,
I've heard of roboform but never checked it out. I will have a look today for sure.
Believe me, I know about being cautious with the outsourcing...that's what's kept me from going down that road.

I'm pretty sure that I'm getting great backlinks most with PR 7&8.

Hi Johnson,

I definitely don't want BlueFart. I'd be interested in Grey hat though! Just last night I saw Michelle McPhereson's product and wondered about it (30 minute backlinks). Have you tried it yourself?

Check out the saleage and look for the word software on the page, im sure it's the exact same method as used on 30 minute backlinks.

I know what you mean about spending the $37 bucks only to be "had" again. By the way great tip on checking out the "saleage"... haha.

It is a bit tedious since it uses your eyes and fingers rather than your mind.

I just listened to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio drama while doing backlinking. Since we've finished that we've gotten some of the Doctor Who radio dramas.

I try to do a little every day. In addition to my own sites, I have plenty of Squidoo lenses and articles, so I have a lot to backlink.

Elitementor, could you please give some concrete examples? For example, how many backlinks did you give per page, at which pages (all I mean by this is for example 4 pages with PR7, 8 pages with PR6 and so on - at that level), how long did it take for your sites to rise and how much have they risen?

Well, I guess I asked 4 questions there, and wuold love to know answers of these before I delve deeper for my sites.

You really need to have patience if you want your keyword to have a decent rank and if you also want a good pr. It's better that you got more one-way link. A link from a relevant and high pr site is always better in order to increase your pr.
