Default Ever have Google yank your page completely from results?

I have several Squidoo lenses. One of which I had been using a backlinks package to slooooooowly inch it up in the search results from about 150 to around 100, 70... finally I was up to about 50.

This morning, after having added 2 or 3 backlinks in the last week, I Googled the keyword and.... I saw I was not in the results in the top 200. I went and added to give me results in Squidoo.com domain only and Google refused even then to tell me about the page.

What's up with that?

Any possible theories? Should I just give it a few days and see if the site returns? Very frustrating.

Well, I'm back, at spot 36. Very odd.

this happens all the time, don't worry it's just how Google works... I recognize that it scary to see that your site just disapeared sometimes...

I wouldn't read too much into it. As Franck says it does happen quite often whilst google is doing its updating thing. You just happened to search for your website at the wrong time.
