Hellor warriors I've done some research using SEO Book, and found a few very good keywords. One of the phrases got like 400 searches a day, but when I used google adwords keyword tool they reported about 40 visitors a month. This happened for several keywords that I tested... Who is wrong here? Does anyone have experience in this field? |

If you're talking about the adwords traffic estimator it's not very reliable, especially for low search volume terms. You could always just try bidding on adwords for a day and see how many impressions you get and then move on from there.

believe on your SEO book and don't believe on adwords because its not a trusted tool and it always produce false statistics so i never believe on it and i follow my expectation because i know which keyword is highly demanded by all and what to use and how to use don't take help of any software because we make softwares but software don't make us so our brain works more than it so always believe on you and have confidence and sure you will get good result. Thanks. |

Sorry, got to disagree with you all here.. The google keyword tool is as accurate as you can possibly get, you need to know how to use it properly. You are getting Adwords search numbers from the horses mouth so to speak but dont take my word for it. As always, do your own testing!

Hi, The best tool to use for adwords is the google keyword tool. Why wouldnt it be, google created it specifically for adwords. There are some other great tools out there but the keyword tool is the best. |

Something that I just noticed: The data is extremely old... I did a search for "wii", and search data for "when is the nintendo wii coming out" is on top of the keyword list with 2000 searches a day. This would have been the truth 2 years ago, but not today! Is this just seobook or is this wordtracker data? Is this data intentionally old or is it the real deal? |

Seems like all the other keyword tools have far fewer searches than the Google tool. What is behind the discrepancy?
