How long did it take you to earn your first $100 w/Adsense?

I have yet to earn a hundred measly bucks with it, although I've put little to no effort into it. Another monster site I was marketing for had thousands of visitors a day and would earn about $10 a day.

A few months at least but I wasn't really doing anything to promote the sites at that point. I think I just put adsense on some of my sites because they weren't making affiliate sales.

I think it was about 3 months. This was back in like 2003. I've killed too many brain cells since those days to remember for sure.

I understand why they do it, but it sucks to have to wait for over a month to get your payout from Google. But once you're making $100+ every month, you forget about that delay because every month you get $$$. Sweet!

It took me about 5 months I think, but it was only then once I got my first $100 check that I put more effort in to increasing that amount. Why I waited until I received my first cheque I don't know; I should have worked through those few months to increase the amount and get to that $100 amount earlier.

About three months. I don't really do anything to the sites that are getting Adsense.

I keep saying that I will go and revamp them, but never get the time. So for no work being done, it's okay.

Following the trend, I think it was about 3 months for me. When I started, I just plopped adsense code anywhere. Then I did some research and found out optimum places to get more clicks and the revenue went up from there.

It took me three months for my first $100. I had to figure out better placements for the ads and build more traffic during that time.

I make around $300 to $500 month and have been with adsense since 2002 but only started to really use it on my sites site 2006, I make around 1 new site now per month.

I know this is obvious but $100 a month is about $3.33 a day so if you have 3 sites earning just over a $1 average per day then you're in the $100 a month club I would always discount the first month as a learning curve + the fact sites not indexed for long or getting much organic traffic but most people should be able to hit $100 in month 2 working part time once they've got to grips with the fundamentals.

Concentrate on getting targeted traffic to niches with strong advertiser interest.

Assuming each site takes 2-3 days max to build and promote ( if you are doing it all by yourself. If you're not doing it all by yourself then 3 sites to generate this level of earnings would take less than 3 days from start to finish. If you get quick you could do two in a day no problem ) and that site earns $1 minimum a day average then once you are in the flow you should be able to make $100 a month with 6-9 days work ( less if you don't do it all yourself ). Of course, there's a time lag for organic traffic and a learning curve to go through so I would discount the first month and apply this to your 2nd month. In month 2 if you have built a few sites by this stage you should be hitting $100+ a month comfortably.

When my blog first launched, it took at least a month before hitting the $100 mark. Up til now, it is getting easier and easier to hit that mark.

It's all depend on how many sites you are promoting the adsense and the number of visitors to your respective site. This is also very much depend on how well the SEO of your site.
