Broke the $10 mark today in Adsense for the first time.........

Yeah I know, I recently posted a few days ago about breaking $100 for the first time in one month. So I was leery of Posting about this. Dont wanna make a big deal about such a small amount of money compared to what others are making .

But then I decided WTF, if it motivates more peeps all the better !!

Anyway, I hadnt even broken $8 yet in one day in over a year of working hard at this .. About hour ago I checked and had $.82 in Earnings then a little bit ago I check and its $10.80 !!

I dont mean to get too excited. I know its not much but Adsense like anything else is a long term process of building Traffic and having the proper placement of the Ads.

Bottom Line is create a Quality Site with great, original Content and Provide good info. for people looking for a particular Product or Service that will meet their demands !!

Not to rain on your parade, but you may want to make your posts regarding adsense a little more vague or at least more difficult to search for.

For example ads ense and I would definitely tone down statements regarding CPC amounts.

Just some friendly advice.

But in all due respect, thats a little bit of paranoia dont you think ?? Considering I can name at least two dozen Internet marketers off the top of my head who do very, very well with Adsense and openly discuss it own their Blogs.
We are talking about them discusiing CTR and CPC as well as total Adsense earnings. And they have been doing this for a number of years !

In my Post I disclosed NOTHING that would jeopardize the good standing of Google or harm it's Advertisers in any way, shape or form.

Iam not telling Anyone to go click on any Ads at my Blog or anything like that. So I do NOT see how in the World discussing CPC could be harmful to any party involved !!

Like I said people get scared for all the wrong reasons and with a little Education and Common Sense I think we could cut down on all this kind of thinking.

Anybody have some nice authoritative websites for info on Ads ense optimizing? I am not talking about ad placement and colors, I am talking strategies?

Congrats, Discrat! I think you need to take stock and acknowledge hitting milestones in your business. It doesn't matter how low they might appear to others. I guarantee you more people will read your post and be envious than read it and think it's no big deal.

Congrats I know how you are feeling though with the set of keywords I am targeting with my blog now. With just 2 adsense clicks I made 5.98 again is no great number but coincidering the amount of traffic I get since the new permalinks. It is a great deal to me knowing I just set it up not to long ago and made 6 off of less then 50 visits. It is a good feeling and I can't wait till all my pages are listed again on google. Getting me the traffic I was getting around mid of april.

Lex if you go through my blog it is now geared to adsense and I will be adding more articles just about adsense I do have a few post on there now about adsense now

Nice Pete !! I know that feeling of $3 Clicks and its a good feeling particularly when you worked hard providing good , original content and focused on utilizing advantageous Keywords.

@Discrat - Neil Shearing ( some of you may know him ) said to me a few years ago "You can't make a million dollars before you've made your first dollar". That's always stuck with me. Once you know how to make a $1 if you can replicate that success you can go on to make as much as you want over time. Getting to $10 is as big a deal as getting to $100, $200.. $500.. those round numbers are big benchmarks.

Let's also not forget that humble $1 which is massive to people starting out.

Sorry I have the adsense articles on hand just have not posted them yet. I am debating on if I should completely remode the menus since I am still getting good traffic for a few of the post. Particularly in people and places. I may delete/edit the other categories to fit in to my new theme.

Also I do not want to add all of the post I have waiting all at once since this may get me ping blacklisted. Plus I have found it is better to for placement to ad one post every few days. Since google loves up to date fresh content.

Any one have any ideas on remaping/editing my categories. Plus since I am now gearing my blog to talk only about adsense and google. What else do you think I should throw in to that mix to maximize the traffic and results.
