#1 in MSN in less than 24 hours

I almost can't believe it, but it happened to me.

The facts:

180,000ish competing results
#1 and #3 in MSN in less than 24 hours
It took about 4-6 hours of actual work
The rest of the system is auto pilot
It required unique content
It required additional software
It is a niche that only has 500 searches per month
It is a niche that will probably have 15,000 searches per month very soon.

I thought it might be helpful to others to show that it is possible and perhaps serve as an inspirational story for some.

I have a few other sites ranking in the top 5 at Google, Yahoo, and MSN for different niches, but it took me forever to get them there.

I was amazed that this system worked so fast and thought I would share my story.

It hasn't made ONE dime yet, so was it worth my time? I'll keep you posted.

For all the "critics" and "haters"
- I know it's not google, i know its not the most sought after keyword
- It's just my experience, yours may vary.
- I'm just showing off the fish, I won't teach you how to fish. I don't want to give out the niche.

Agreed, rather than ask for PM's why not post the general process here - without giving way your niche of course.
I've actually found it much easier to get into Google and Yahoo results than MSN results these days so would be interested in knowing your system.

Let us know if you get much traffic and conversions for that term. MSN tends to not drive much business for most sites I've worked on, so its only a minor step until you get ranking in Google.

T.V., that's good news about Google rankings, I'm hopeful that Big G picks up the site soon since that would mean more than a top MSN rank.

Did you notice any trend in the sites that you worked on regarding how long it took Google to pick up your sites after MSN did?
