Default Google Adwords - Removing Deleted Campaigns for good!

I've had several emails regarding this, so I thought I would share this with everyone here...

If you're doing Google Adwords for any length of time, you probably have some deleted campaigns!

The thing is, Google does not remove these deleted campaigns from your account because of historical
data reasons. You can only hide/show these campaigns (adgroups, ads etc) from view.

They explain all this indetail here:
https://adwords.google.com/support/b...69944&hl=en_US

But here's a quick guide how to hide in windows:
1. Start Adwords Editor. Then goto Tools > Settings.
2. Uncheck the box labeled Hide all deleted and ended items.
Then uncheck the appropriate boxes below it.
3. click ok
I have found that this method sometimes does not work on some campaigns - don't know why. Probably a bug in
the adwords editor
Hope this helps...
