Default The Warriors Forum SEO MindMap

Hey Warriors,

I'm actually playing with my fabulous new tool to create beautiful mindmap called DropMind and I thought I could share this mindmap and improve it altogether so it can help every Warriors interested on this subject in the forum.

The goal of this mindmap is to offer a tool and a good plan for any warriors that are looking to improve their ranks on search engines.

As you can see on the image, I asked some questions, if some SEO pro can answer them, I'd be really appreciated!

If you're interested on improving the mindmap, just send me a PM and I'll send you the file to update it.

Jean-Michel

Nice job. I like it. For directories, I would definitely recommend against using a bot to submit. You really have submit manually. What I usually do is monitor sites like info.vilesilencer.com for the newest directories and submit to them as they come out because the likelihood of getting a free link is much better with new directories. If I have a customer with an SEO budget I will also submit paid listings to some of my favorite directories that I can see clearly have traffic and/or pagerank.

PHP Link Directory Script - a great addition to ANY website and much more than just a directory.
templates for phpLD - phpLD Templates (hundreds!)
Article Directory Script - Video Directory Script

How are your results with link building with directories? How much time do you spend building link with that? There is no way to automate this process? I'm gonna add your resource to the mindmap!

Fantastic - thanks for the referral to Mindrop. Looks great (just about to download it.)

Also, I agree - where possible try and avoid bots to submitting things unless they submit your content "correctly" rather than just blast everything under the sun.

There will be plenty more to add to that (when I think!) but fantastic foundations and fully recommend to newbies to take a look and pin it on their wall.

I use Directory Maximizer as they submit to the SEO friendly directories manually.

Not only that, but they allow you to submit variations of anchor text, descriptions and links etc to spread out your efforts.

Insanely cheap - I'm doing 100 Directories a month for 12 months and it works out 14cents a directory.

The links seem to get picked up by Yahoo too.

I went to the site you're referring to and it really looks like a great service! Also, for those who, like me have a good workforce in hand + multiple sites to market, use the list of directories in the directory maximizer and outsource the work to your link builder = huge saves!

For example, someone that pays 14$ p/month for 100 links * 50 sites = 700$/month. I'm sure this can be done in a work month of 160 hours where you pay your outsourcer 200 to 400$ (What they are probably doing).

Thanks for the link! I'm going to update the mindmap again and if you get used to DropMind, drop me a PM so we can work on the mindmap in team.

Hi Warriors,

First let me thank you for using Desktop.DropMind.com and for your nice words about our software. I am really glad that you like it and I hope you will enjoy using it.

I must say that I love the SEO map. i even have learned some new stuff from you guys.

@JMLebeau, Thanks a lot for starting this threat. I'm so excited about it. can you please attach the .dmm file also, so the editing would be much easier?

I would like to add the robot.txt and sitemap.xml in the On-Page SEO topic.

Thank you once again.

Have a great day,
Natalija

I wanted to create a SEO-only mindmap and not a traffic generation mindmap for now, this could be another project tough

I have a lot to add to your mindmap.

What program did you use to create it..I have a couple that I use.

Just wondered if I could import yours and add to it.

Well...what a duh moment. I knew that.

I'll recreate it in Concept Draw Mindmap. I am suppose to be working so I kinda need to hide what I'm doing a little. (feeling a quilt trip coming)

It's easier to do that on the desktop.

Hope we don't run out of room with this. Maybe...present it in layers as to skill sets?
