I've just done a 'site:Bank Repossessed Property Deals Sourced From Distressed Sellers Delivered To You Via Email Daily' in google and it's there, indexed. If you google "serious sa investors only" (in quotes), it comes up with your site top. So, you need to decide what the keyphrases your potential customers will be using to provide the information you're providing, and target your page for those. Do some keyword research using the google adwords tool or wordtracker, along the 'reposessed property' lines, and you'll find some popular phrases. Mike |

ah ha thanks, didnt know that little trick. I have done extensive keywords research and am already driving traffic to it with adwords. It is converting about 28% of traffic sent to it. Do you think all I need to do is link build now and it should rank well? I was under the impression that google frowns upon squeeze pages...how do I know google aint frowning upon mine and that my back links will be a waste of time. |

Yes, do a load of link building. Google don't like 'Thin affiliate sites' which are basically sites with loads of affiliate links without any real content. Provided you are giving the visitor value then you should be ok. People say you should have a 'privacy policy' page and an 'about us' page so Google takes you a bit more seriously, but I've never had any problems with sites without those! |

Dale, Here's the deal with google...they want great info for their searchers. Squeeze pages are not considered great content. You need to build a small site around your squeeze page. You need a home page that is content rich and targeted with your most important keywords, your squeeze page, a hand full of article pages, and a blog. None of these need to be too elaborate or beautiful since its really just for google. You only need to send people to your squeeze page. you need to link to all these pages from your home page, then you need a site map. use google site map for this. its easy and google realy likes it. |
