i have a niche and one of the keywords is a)expensive in adwords b)highly searched every month and c) has weak SEO competition BUT it is misspelled! has anyone had this before? how do you blog about a keyword phrase so that misspellers find it without looking like an idiot that can't use spellcheck in wordpress? if i go after this keyword i'll need to build misspelled backlinks too, ha!

Google does a pretty good job with their "Did you mean" front and center if you spell something they don't like. chevrolit trucks Did you mean: chevrolet trucks I wouldn't advocate intentionally misssspelilng words because it makes your writing look weak to those who can spell. At the same time if you figure out a way to make real money from it... then I guess the door is wide open. |

I am a web content writer and I get orders for these misspelled keywords all the time. I get them so often I sometimes forget how to spell some words properly after an order. If you are trying to build your reputation though and you don't want to seem like an idiot, I would suggest that you just keep away from them. There are other high paying keywords in the haystack.
