I just mean if you will have good backlinkes to your website that will help you indexed fast with search engines. if you will start a new website that will take time to indexed if you will not have any backlink .

I set up Day Trading FX Course Blog - Forex Advice, Tips, Forex Analysis, Winning Strategies a little while back, my first post got indexed in 38 minutes, my 2nd post the next day got indexed in 16 minutes, my 3rd post got indexed in 11 minutes. brand new site - NO BACKLINKS!

So how is it getting indexed so quickly? it's the theme I'm using as mentioned above.

this is a brilliant list, very helpful especially the article directories. You are right about the fact that a successful site relies on SEO appraoches acorss a broad spectrum of channels and not just one, i.e forum posting or just do follow blogging.

Yes, I also noticed that google index my blogs within an hour or so after a ping over at pingomatic.com. I've seen the same result with 3-4 different free themes and also using the default theme in Wordpress. All blogs on different domains.

I've got a question. Article submission is shown as #1.
Let's say I spend few dollars to iSnare (article submission to over 1000 article driectories) and lets pretend some website owners publish it on their websites. Is there any possibility that google will penalize me for spam? I mean a backlink to my site was spread into over 1000 directories and websites. That backlink to my site and context it is in is totally the same everywhere. Doesn't this look suspicious to SERPS?

I think building a link wheel nowadays is getting more difficult as the Web 2.0 properties themselves take a very long time to get indexed. I do not know about your recent experiences but I have blogs at Wordpress.com, Vox and Multiply which are already 3 weeks old and not yet indexed by Google.
