Best way to learn about running successful Adsense campaigns?

What's the best e-book (or website, whatever) you've ever seen on learning how to run successful Adwords campaigns?

I'd like to start picking some affiliate offers to promote.

I know that it's a good idea to try different things and experiment, but I wouldn't mind learning a few good tips before throwing away too much "test money."

You are asking about adsense in the subject line - but I think you are asking about running adwords campaigns.

go to spyfu.com and watch michaels video then look at the top 100 most expensive keywords that is a niche you want to get in to and base your content around this. Make a blog for free or set up a simple website with cheap hosting or both and make sure it has good relevent content.

Just in case you were serious about learning to run an adsense campaign - as opposed to adwords. Steve Weber of "adsense connection" runs a good economical course - google under steve weber adsense to find it
Lots of videos and he has a nice voice.
