I'm looking for a product which goes through the process of ranking for multiple keywords? Most products consist of concentrating on 1 keyword, i want to look at someone who actually concentrates on multiple keywords at once. |

I don't have a product I can recommend but I can give you some general advice. Making a single site rank for multiple keywords is a lot easier if those keywords are related. Ultimately you need to optimize each page for a given keyword/phrase. Including using those words in all the right place such as the URL, title, headings, image alts etc and most important in the anchor text of the backlinks you get for it. The idea is to use the strategies you've read about to rank for a single keyword for a site to do so for a given page (after all, that's what appears in the search results) then to use all of that link juice that you've built up to push your main page(s) higher for far more general terms that get more traffic. |

There really is no secret to it... The recipe (for organic search engine traffic) is always the same: Good keywords + content written around each keyword + backlinks using each keyword as anchor text = increasing flow of traffic. Where many get frustrated is by choosing poor keywords or not doing any keyword research at all. You must build content around words and phrases people actually search for at Google, Yahoo, MSN. That's the foundation. Post one page to your blog or static site about each of your keywords and then get some links pointing to those pages using that same keyword as anchor text. Keep going. Eventually you'll have created a traffic monster. It just takes time and persistence (or money if you outsource these tasks). John |

I'd recommend that you not spread yourself too thin. I'd not target more than a keyword or 2 per page. So i would make different pages and areas of the site that target your chosen keywords. again, start small and build your way up. |

I think there should be a golden middle between limiting oneself to a single keyword (which may be worth a bit of trial and error) and targeting an unrealistically vast a number of keywords. It generally depends on the type of the site and the product as well. Now, promoting for multiple keywords does not differ that much from promoting for a single word (as mentioned above, and even twice). The main secret here, it seems, is keeping track of your activities and allocating the time and effort evenly - some keywords are easy, others are tricky. |

Another idea is to use the tags built into WordPress. Do research on keyword phrases related to a post you are writing, then use the phrases (3 - 8 seems to work best) as tags. You will need to make the tag pages unique for this to work. One way is to use different parts of the post to dispaly an excerpt on each tag page. There may be plugins available to help. We achieved this with a custom plugin developed by us for our blogging service. |

You can definitely do it with enough quality backlinks but you need to make sure that the keywords you are trying to rank for are related to eachother. For example, if you were trying to rank for "lose weight fast" as your main keyword and you also wanted to rank for "lose weight" then it would be very possible to do so since your alternate keyword is a part of your main phrase. |
