No black hat SEO - nothing even close and I'm losing hundreds of leads a day from the natural engines. Its outrageous.

Brother, our company is going through the same thing. We got hit by Penguin, and after that I was hired. It's entirely frustrating getting off of Google's blacklist, especially when nothing seems to work. Still, I'm pretty new to all of this stuff, and everything I'm hearing from the people I think are smart is that the less you think about pleasing Google, the more you will impress them.

Google is a constant pain, no doubt. But it is their company, their search engine, their website...they have the right to do whatever they like, including banning categories of sites outright if they wanted to. You can't depend on them just because you follow their rules.

That's why no matter what, you have to diversify you traffic generation sources rather than depend solely on Google if you want to survive as a business.

The question is, are you gonna do something about it? There's no way I would feel comfortable not having complete control of my business.

One of the most common problems I see from beginners... Focusing all your attention on "What Software Thinks" about your website. It's stupid.

WHO GIVES A FLYING **** WHAT GOOGLE THINKS!

Google doesn't care if you succeed. Google doesn't click your ads or buy your products. Google is in the business to make money, and they don't plan on sharing it unless they absolutely have to!

Amazingly, there's an easier way to do business. I call it "People Marketing". This is where you find ACTUAL PEOPLE that are interested in whatever products, software or information you are providing. You can find these people all over the place, and they are much easier to please than a shitty piece of software. (That's what Search Engines are... Software)

Get yourself into some Social Networks. Talk with people and find out what problems they have. Then find a solution and put it in front of those people. Business isn't difficult, unless you make it difficult.

So one last time for good measure... Stop trying to make software happy, and start focusing your business and advertising on REAL PEOPLE.

So in other words, people should definitely avoid buying that SEO guide you are selling in your signature.

Your telling people how to optimize their SEO in your forum sig.

You should already know this but look at your links, look at your host (down time), look to see pages are still indexed, look for new/stronger competition, etc...

    Hello.

Has Google released an update already?

If so, that was quite early.....
