Default Blog comments and back links with EasyBacklinker

Hi,

I am a bit confused and hope you can help me.

Many people are talking about back linking, get backlinks and PR2-PR8 sites.

Is this the same as making comments on PR2-PR8 blogs?

At this moment i am using a trial version of EasyBacklinker to make comments on high PR blogs.

I need to do this 10 or more times a day on differents blogs,or what is the best way to get backlinks?

I hope you can advice me.

Thanks in advance.

"Best" is a term that is hardly relevant to anything as it can not be defined. Back Linking is typically the term used when someone intentionally sets out to find Blogs/Forums/Sites they can place their own Keyword Rich Anchor Text on.

Something to consider... Page Rank is NOT Site Rank. And as each Publicly Accessible page adds comments with "Backlinks" the value of the link on that page diminishes. What you can not control is Spam. So what do you do if you place a well constructed and relevant link on a comment page... then the spammers come in after you? There is the real possibility that your link gets grouped with the spam links in some future filter.

It's a tough game. So your job is to keep your posts relevant, create a diverse linking strategy, and do what you can to avoid placing links on pages with spam comments. And it's not easy. But it is worth it.

Hi,

Thank your for this explanation.
This is really helpful, but it seems that backlinking is quite a difficult job.

Getting links can be really easy.

There are much easier ways to get lots of backlinks. I'm not sure why you chose blog commenting, but every time there's a link on a web page that points to one of yours - that's a link.

What's more important is WHY you want that link and whether it achieves that goal. For example if the link is there to get traffic then where it shows, what context it's in and what the text is will be important. If it's to help with your organic search position on your main site then ensuring it gets followed by bots will be important. If you're trying to build your brand and theme your own site, then making sure the links re-enforce that brand and are on closely related web pages and land on specific pages of yours is important.

At the end of the day - they're all links but depending on your objective - different factors come into play more or less.

Thanks Andy.
Why I choose blog commenting?Good question.
The reason is that I found Easybacklinker to get backlinks and I thought let's give it a try.
I'd like to know what can be easier ways to get backlinks.

Isn't important to have as much as possible backlinks to rank higher in Google.
Okay,I know it's not only backlinks what helps to rank you higher.
The point is that I try many methods to get more traffic and a better ranking in Google.

Backlink with anchor text as our keyword makes it more worth in search engines eyes.
Commenting in blogs sometimes are limited by no-follow tags and such blogs needs to be filtered out. However, there are search engines that do not follow this tag, but on the other side there are engines which do not crawl links with no-follow tag.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for trying Easy Backlinker. Yes commenting on blogs that are PR2-PR8 is the same as getting backlinks from sites that are PR2-PR8. A "backlink" is literally any link pointing from someone else's site to yours. It also helps if the site (and particularly the page) that your link appears on is related to your site. That's where Easy Backlinker comes in.

Don't limit your SEO efforts to just Easy Backlinker blogs though. It's an excellent tool (well I would say that) but there are many other good techniques out there as well. Angela and Paul's high PR backlink guides are definitely worth the investment as well. I find them more time consuming than EBL but they definitely have their place in a good backlink strategy.

Hope that helps. Its quite hard to provide input on these things without sounding like a sales drone for my own product.

Cheers,

Andy

Backlink acquisition is a tedious challenge - or can be. Perhaps outsourcing is a better use of the time?

IMHO its not a 10-15 minute task per day ... it can be, but to me that is time flushed. I work best blocking out larger chunks of time dedicated to the tasks, and work on it in logical steps - with a defined workflow in mind. Meaning doing all those same mind numbing tasks - like registering at sites that allow you to leave a link - in bulk phases. Example ...

1. Register at 20 sites ... then
2. Login at 20 sites [ confirmation emails etc..] ... then
3. Open Up 20 tabs in firefox and post my comments at 20 sites

Backlinks are a pretty critical piece to your overall SEO strategy. So it pretty much - HAS TO BE DONE [unless you already have a huge list].

Even with some nifty tools and automation and some planning it can be real "work". However; getting on page one and getting more sales makes it very gratifying at the end of the day. At least it has been for me.

Going from Google oblivian - to being finally found and making sales and getting new prospects on your list, and tons more traffic to your sites - makes it worth it, and worth thinking of a long term strategy.

Guys,
There are several ways in link building, let's recap:
- blog commenting
- forum signature
- article marketing
- sidebar/permanent link (reciprocal/buy/swap)
Anything else?
And which one is most powerful?
