I have searched and searched and still come up with mixed answers on this question. I would like the opinion of all the adsense experts here as I am new to the game and definately don't want to get myself banned from adsense on my first time out lol. One of my sites is an MP3 search engine that searches google MP3 indexes and displays the results to be played or "right click" download. Would adsense be allowed on this type of site or no? Thanks for any and all suggestions. |

I don't see any of your competitors on adsense. Hmmm...

lol. 2 replies and it's already mixed. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. chris: actually I have seen a lot of MP3 search sites using adsense but unfortunately I haven't tracked them with any accuracy to see if they are still using adsense or how long they have been using adsense. Thanks guy's |

What is the problem? I don't understand why Google wouldn't like them. Are they illegal mp3... copyrighted content? I can see google not liking that and putting it in the same class as warez, etc.

It is a grey zone. Downloading Mp3 on the net is always a bit illegal.

Read the Adsense terms of service very carefully. Google has strict rules about where Adsense can be placed. See: https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...ui&medium=link In case you don't want to click. Content Guidelines Publishers may not place AdSense code on pages with content that violates any of our content guidelines. Some examples include content that is adult, violent or advocating racial intolerance. Sites with Google ads may not include or link to:
Copyrighted Material AdSense publishers may not display Google ads on webpages with content protected by copyright law unless they have the necessary legal rights to display that content. Please see our DMCA policy for more information. So to answer your question. You can use Adsense if you own or have the legal right to use the content on your website. If you don't own or have the legal right to use the content you are not allowed to use Adsense. BTW, you're not allowed to use Adsense if you link to any of the types of sites listed above. So if you link to sites that violate copyright (the legal rights of others) you're in strife with Google. |
