I have tested a few campaigns that make money, but I need more clicking eye-balls! Adsense is a problem because of their quality score requirements. I do not want to make a separate page for every keyword! ie my keyword could be "weather Seattle", and "weather Toronto" etc. Do not want to build a separate web page for each keyword. So I need alternate advertising sources. Without the Adwords quality review. Just take my advert and run it! Another problem. I have bought ad space in several places, they have good impressions by *zero* clicks! These seem to be pop-under etc impressions, not real viewers I think. So I'm looking for real PPC advertising opportunites without the uppity Adwords requirements.. Anyone have any experience with these? 1. [ no thanks - Google Adwords ] 2. Yahoo Search Marketing 3. MSN Adcenter 4. AdSonar (a.k.a. Quigo) 5. Pulse360 6. AdBrite 7. looksmart.com 8. ask.com 9. 7search.com Do they have real clickers? Without the quality score review? |

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

go with 3 msn, low volume, but not so hard and fast QS rules. than move to YSM.

MSN Adcenter (now it's Bing I guess) and Yahoo Marketing are ok. they have both cheaper costs but Yaoo has also a system of Score ... If you want something without, try banner advertising :-) it's paid by CPM but it's exactly what you want ... Cristian |

From experience Yahoo is NOT cheaper - if anything it's more expensive because they use a different ad bid structure which is more cost based than performance based. With that being said Yahoo will allow you to do stuff that will never be allowed on Adwords. For one QS is not such a big deal. Although Yahoo and MSN are great "alternatives" the traffic volumes tends to be small and testing on these networks are slow. I would suggest testing in Adwords and only take across your "winners" to see how they perform in Yahoo and MSN |

After two times banns from Google I realized I need something new. Each time it's happened when my account was about to pay out. Not serious. Adbrite was my next try. Lots of unwanted ads from it's sister blacklabelads. So I stop. Now I'm with AdWooz PPC. Two separate accounts for publisher and advertiser, $50 start up for advertising, 75% revenue sharing, keyword targeting, simple and reliable. I like AdWooz for almost 2 months. |

You can try all those other PPC search engines and see what you get. Note that many now follow Google's model to some degree and reward better positions and prices to the best ads based on CTR. This in effect is their quality score. So if you simply copy your campaign with non-targeted keywords and poor ads, you may find you get similarly poor results. Your page should be about one thing. That's the theme of your page. Your keywords should be related to that theme. If you sell web hosting services, "web site hosting", "website hosting", "web page hosting" and all variations are your theme. You don't need to create a separate page for "web site hosting services", another for "web page hosting company" and another for "asp website hosting", etc. But if you are looking for more potential eyeballs, Google is used by about 70% of people, MSN and Yahoo together make up most of the rest. You'll get diminishing returns as you add more so it may not be worth it. Of those on your list, apart from the Big Three, I've only used Looksmart and that was a few years ago. There were few searches for tax prep services offered by my client. |
