Did You Get Sandexed = Did Google Throw Sand In Your Face & Smash Your Sand Castle You Just Built?

Sandexed is a new search term I'm coining. That's going to be my five seconds of claim to fame.

Sandexed means getting into Google's sandbox or supplementary index.

What did you do to get out of it quickly?

Building backlinks?
Writing solid content?
Blog postings or comments?
Forum marketing?

Just wondering what people's thoughts are and how aggressive did you have to work at it? Matt

I was working hard on a website - building pages, doing on- and off-page SEO work like crazy...

...and my site was sandboxed for what seemed like forever!

Then, it came out and shot up the Google pages and now sits solidly at #5! and has for a while - I have a suspicion that Google flagged it for human review... and that a Google employee reviewed it, found it to be legit (it is) and released it.

During the sandbox time it was a bit distressing, here I was working my A## off on this site and it's completely disappeared!

I was sandboxed and though it was due to some blackhat techniques well I was creating a few backlinks and pasted my backlinks in my profile bio box and then submitted the url to my profile to search engines. i done this a few times and then my site disappeared. As I was making no sales I started a adwords campaign and walla my site was out..
