If you are a spammer, getting "link juice" and "google love" can be pretty easy. But, what if you aren't, and want to market your products/services, what do you do? Standard ideas I know -- article marketing, bum marketing, video marketing, etc. Thing is, many people seeking "get rich quick" methods in some cases "spam" 1,000+ items for every "legit" marketing method an honest good guy wants to do. So if you have one guy that say writes an article, spends an hour promoting it, many times you have another guy that uses a spinner to make 1,000 copies in 20 seconds, spams 1,000 directories -- and basically throwing a bunch of stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks, making it difficult for the "honest" good guy to see results from his campaign. So... what do you do to get 'link juice' and 'google love', that requires 'work', but is not easy to 'spam' (so you still see results?) Cheers! |

Write original unique fresh content that is new for the niche you are promoting.

I agree with you on the autobot sites, these sites provide no real use to web and when you try to read them- they make no sense what so ever. I think that google will eventually catchup with these guys.

I guess you have to build up authority somehow, so that when people copy your content, it is fairly obvious (to both readers and Google). I don't know how to do this other then just keep plugging away. Sure, my content gets stolen, but slowly I have begun to develop myself as an authority in my niche, and people link to my site. This makes the spammers of my content really worthless, as my site is above their "authority level" and so those spam sites disappear in the Google SERPs. I think time has a lot to do with it: for both you and your site.
