I recommend you to start with about 3-5 keywords to rank first that target 5,000-10,000 visitors with a low competition to help get you warmed up. Get those keywords on your sites content and possibly your domain.
Next get some good back links related to your keywords linked to your website. Also do a lot of social media backlinks to better increase your ranking.
In a nut shell you need to create quality backlinks and content to help increase your SEO.

it would be better to start first with only 3-5 keywords to target, once you are ranked for few keywords it will become easier to rank for more.

As a SEO consultant of my own SEO company, here's my recommended plan:

    1) Choose only the long-tail keywords - around 5 - 10 of them
    2) Rank your website for these long-tail keywords (80% effort here) + brand name (20% effort here)
    3) Once you've ranked successfully on page 1 of Google for these long-tail keywords (which is probably your inner pages), it will be time to target the big keywords and your main home page
    4) Link to your home page (around 60% of the time) and other pages (40%) - Mix of anchor text (URL/Images/Brand name/Exact keyword match/Varied keyword)

Best luck! If there's anything else you would need help with, PM me.

Start with the super long tail keywords, If you are in the US, one of the best strategy is to rank for a long tail property features with the zip code. I would use Youtube First as it ranks super easy for long tail keywords.

An example would be '3 bedroom 2 baths 2 car garage 99999'

Place a link from Youtube to your site in the video and in the body.

Once Youtube is ranked, add the video on your page and rank the page, not the homepage.

Be sure to have a converting lead capture page setup.

You should repeat the process by using shorter tail keywords.

We had great success using this method.

PM me if you need further advice.

Be realistic, your here asking how to rank 80 keywords when you need to focus on ranking one keyword & expanding additional keywords later.

Since your just now starting out with SEO, learn how to pick the easier longtail competition keywords that still have traffic.
