So what to do that? I mean, since to get better ranking, we need to come out with great content and update the website/blog frequently. I on the other side, have only 1 page site.. how can this possible?

I do I need to use ezine articles or youtube to get backlinks?

      Please help me.

    I'd say no chance!

I wouldn't even call a 1 page site on a sub-domain a micro site - it's a 1 page site - and they require external traffic either from paid advertising, or siphoned from other people's sites - social media maybe?

A sub-domain is a separate site, so needs several pages of its own, as well as the mandatory about us, contact us, privacy, etc. pages

You got to do various submissions & build too many backlinks.

      I agree with this

You may as well just create a wordpress blog site and create a "page" for each individual product

You would need to create a static home page with content that mentions each product you are promoting, and the mandatory contact, privacy, etc. pages

You will have much less work to do if you promote a single type of site like this, rather than several "individual" sub-domain sites, that won't rank anyway

Yes you can. Google most rank webpages and if your website has only one page, you can rank it as long as your page is credible. Take note of the conversion rate of your website as this is one of the biggest factor in ranking your one-page site.

The only way you'll top rank a single page website is if there is absolutely no other site that's relevant - and nowadays that's not at all likely

Sure, if you are targeting some absolutely obscure keyword phrase, you could also do it - but that's also not going to happen

You'll have no chance of top ranking a single page against conventional multi-page sites

This is completely untrue, because Iv ranked very small sites like these and they bring in some nice passive income. I don't no where you get your "facts" from, maybe it's because your not able to do it, I don't know but Iv done it and I know it's possible.

Yes it's getting more difficult but it can still be done.

To be honest I wouldn't even try it nowadays - because of several "facts"

1/ a site without the mandatory privacy, etc. pages is going to get de-ranked by Google team as soon as it comes to their attention

2/ a site without the mandatory privacy, etc. pages could get the site owner in trouble with the law - FTC or some other "authority"

3/ several years ago I went back to building authority sites after a couple of years building micro-niche sites - which turned out to be a short-lived fad once Google took a disliking to the model

If micro-niche sites are not liked by Google, what chance does a 1 page site have?

Building a site and getting it ranked is one thing - keeping it ranked once Google spots it is another - but I still say it's a waste of time building a 1 page site - but you are welcome to disagree with me

I'm not sure why you want to rank a one page site when you can easily add 8-10 pages and get a decent shot at ranking. Are you experimenting? Or you are just being lazy.

Yes one page sites still rank today, you'll need strong external backlinks.

Yeah, but why stop there? Build out your website, add more pages, then you can start using internal linking, build up some authority, suddenly it becomes much easier to rank, and you can rank for more keywords.

It would be harder because if it's only 1 page, you won't be able to add new content frequently... Also, if there were many more pages, you can rank for different keywords, but for a specific keyword you could rank on 1st page without so many problems if the keyword is not so competitive! I hope the subdomain is just perfectly chosen for the desired keyword! H1 tag in the title is recommended, alt tag (related to the keyword) for the images if you use! Title tag for links, etc.
