According to Neil Patel(quicksprout.com guy) EMD still works. There is no fix time even Google can not say when your site will get rank because it follow more than 200 parameters to rank a website.

You should remember that quantity does not matter. Quality is prime factor in ranking.

There is no fixed parameter to rank a site in Google. You just need to update your blog with highly useful content for your readers. The moment your blog will start gaining traction with more targeted visitors and your there will be more engagement on your blog, the better it is.

EMDs are ok, they still work for me.

As far as strategy goes, focus youself on finding good long tail keywords for your content and make that content worth to read.

I am using Long Tail Pro and this tool finds me the best possible keywords together with full competition analysis. You should try it out!

Totally depends on your competition. You want to look at what the sites on page 1 for your keywords are doing. And, to a greater extent, the top 3 sites.

Are they ranking with weak backlink profiles? Then it shouldn't be too tough to eventually outrank them. Do they have a ton of crappy links? If so they may not last too long. Etc.

Generally I'd recommend Ahrefs or Majestic but there's a few tools that are currently free that can provide you a pretty good overview of what your competition is doing.

yes, I am using Ahref for backlinks. My competitors are not making big backlinks they just make brand domain and rank with DA and PA authority. I am making niche blog to outrank them in a specific time. Like mother day event. I have limited time to rank my article (like 30 days).

Can you tell me how to make good backlinks in few days ?

If you are clearly wanting to create backlinks, then just create awesome piece of content. Now look, the fact is that almost everything has been written and discussed on the Internet. So does that mean you have no chances? No, you do have the chances.

Search in Google for your targeted keyword you want to create article on. You will find many article titles come up. Say, "dog training". You will find many articles such as "Top Ten Dog Training Tips", "How To Train A Dog" and so on.

Now, your work is to create something better than this, for example "50 Dog Training Tips" and expand on the article step-by-step exactly how to do this.

Now, after you create the article and publish it, start an outreach email campaign. Thank the sources you have mentioned in your article. Most probably they will share your article.

Next, again make a list of the top 20 sites (the specific articles) that are ranking for your keyword and go the any free backlinks checker tool to search what sites they have got a link from. After you make a list of all the sources they have got a link from, visit those sites' Contact Us page and email them with your article link telling them you have a better and updated resource for them, which may benefit their readers.

Most will link back to you. In my case, I had emailed 100 sites and got link back from 8 high quality sources, not too bad.

So, this way, you can build some high quality links in a short time.
