Paid Blog Directories Question
- SEO |
Yet, geez, gotta get my blog out there somehow! So, I found several blog posts with reviews of specifically "blog directories" where you should get your blog listed. So far, every one of 'em requires a payment.
One even went so far as to blatently tell you that by paying to be in the directory you will get:
Solid SEO with dofollow links (no "nofollow" tag)
Up to 3 links for each article (unlimited number of submissions)
Greater link exposure in search engines
How can any of these directories be permitted to even show up on Google search themselves if Google is so against paid links?
But my real question is: "Should I really go spend $40 to $150 per blog directory to get some visibility or is there too much risk in being killed by Google thinking I'm only submitting to directories to get backlinks?"
