Same domain (but different pages) ranking multiple times in the first page of Google

Hi Warriors,

I've heard it's very unlikely that there can be more than 2 webpages from the same domain in the first page of Google for your chosen keywords.

For example, I often see that ezinearticles has 2 pages from 2 separate authors in the first page. (One is indented).

My question is... if I want my ezinearticle page to also rank in the first page for that exact same keyword, is it possible? Is it possible to have more than 2 webpages from ezinearticles in the first page of Google?
