Anyone have any tip’s On finding top commentator blogs?

I have only found about top commentator blogs today and, I am having diffuctly finding them. What are peoples views and tips on getting back links from blog commenting, is it effective? Am I Right in thinking I should use a key word as my name when I leave a comment. I have been trying to find blogs and leave relevant comments but I always get, ‘’Comment pending approval’’

Hey Samuel,

Blogs with Top Commentator are hard to find. When you find one, it's usually very "competitive" where you'll have people posting a few times per post which makes it hard for you to provide as many quality comments to compete with them.

Having your keyword phrase as your name certainly gives you a little boost in link juice, but to humans, especially the blog owner, this is frowned upon because it doesn't look like you're there to provide value.

As for your comments requiring approval, this is to prevent people from spamming the blog with useless comments for backlinks (hint). If you provide a quality comment which contributes to the conversation, then your comment should get approved pretty quickly.
