Conflicting information about Article Submission: Whats the Truth ??

I hear conflicting information about duplicate content issues in regards to submitting articles to article directories such as Ezine , etc

Some say that you will get penalized by google for dup. content if you submit the same article to multiple directories ....

Then I hear the exact opposite, that many people do this and there seems to be no issue....

Can anybody relate some of their experiences in regard to this?

I have quite a few original articles on Ezine right now, and I would like to know if it would be beneficial to re submit them to other directories

You won't be. Think about it. If it was that easy wouldn't people be doing that to competitors?

Now, article directories don't want duplicate internal content, for example you and I submit the same PLR article to the same directory, but that's a different issue and doesn't affect your site. People spin PLR articles for the article directory, not themselves so much, and article directories love to raise the "duplicate content penalty" specter to get people to give them unique content.

I'd recommend Big Mike's (Incasoft) ArticleBot. It's inexpensive and it works well.

Ya man, me too was under impression that Article submission will not give any effect, But, If I think on your way (doing this to the competitors), that is a quite & reasonable arguement.....So, it seems it is no harm to use same articles with more directories...... thxs for the clarification.....
