Default About to try Angela's backlinks

Was going to post this in the SEO forum, but i guess that i am too much of a noob to have access to it ><

Hi guys.

Just about to start with Angela's backlink package, and am a bit confused.

Do these links simply get 'magically' indexed by google, or do (or should?) I build links to the profile pages that I create.

If building links to them would help, or is useful, what is the best method to do so? All of the blog lists that i have seem to have switched to nofollow ><

Nothing magical about it...the links provided by Angela's WSO are on high PR sites meaning that Google is constantly crawling them and will pick up your links. In other words, no need to link back to the links you created.

I understand that the sites are craweled frequently, heck, that is part of having a high PR.

But web-spiders themselves only know about pages, that are linked from pages it already knows about.

think about it, if a page has 20 or so characters for the username (url slash user=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) (where the link lives) then google is not going to attempt to access all 13,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 combinations for username a month.

Are you arguing with me about this? YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUILD BACKLINKS TO ANGELA'S LINKS...period!

Do you think that when your profile page is created that the site itself does not create an internal link structure to your new page for Google to follow? Do you think that your newly created profile page is just some independent page the site threw up with no trace?

If you know the answers then why are you asking the questions?

I've been with Angela's service for 6 months and have never once had to backlink the link that I created...and I've had lots of success with it. Take it or leave it.

Not arguing with you, i'm just an engineer that enjoys an technical explanation of how something works so that i can more thoroughly understand what I am doing, and improve upon what is being done.

You know, as apposed to answers that basically say "shut up it just works".

I can appreciate that. It just looked like the "think about it" comment and the paragraph that followed was a bit sarcastic. And we've had a number of new sign-ups recently that ask questions then begin arguing with the people that help them out.

When these sites create a profile for you, there is an internal structure that is also built that allows a path for Google to follow. Otherwise, there would be no way the site itself knew your profile was created (except for looking in the database tables, which even the geekiest of us would reject).

Any further explanation might need to be gathered from the sites themselves (although that's unlikely) and you would actually be suprised as to what the Google spiders can conjure up. You probably won't find how this is done either as Google is very tight-lipped about their technology.

Hope this helps.

It does, and it makes sense that it would be included in the sitemaps and whatnot.

I think my logic is flawed. I remember watching a video a few months ago about link building (specifically about double listings, if i recall correctly).

It mentioned that for a page to be indexed, it needs to be linked from 2 additional, external urls. (don't know if this is true, but it was also part of the stomper 2.0 series of videos).

I then figured that for a link to matter, it would need to get indexed, and to get indexed, linked by two sites.

Sorry for the confusion, i should have included this logic in my original post.

You definitely don't need to do extra linking. Google will find them a very high proportion of the time but if you want to speed things up there's nothing wrong with doing some of the standard quick indexing stuff on your backlinks like blog commenting, forum sigs, autoblogging etc.

Based on my own testing I can tell you that this is completely incorrect.

For example, I can put up a new site with 10 pages. Create a sitemap and submit to Google, then only provide one back link to my main domain and have all 10 pages indexed. I've never had to provide two external links to each page in order to get all 10 pages indexed as this explanation seems to indicate.

Then, any new pages I create will then get picked up by Google as well, especially if I link to them from another already indexed page within my own site.

Also, when you create these backlinks, be sure you use Yahoo's Site Explorer to see your backlinks. Google will credit you with a backlink but not display it using their link: tool. This is simply Google protecting its PageRank algorhythm.

If you do worry about links to your profile,I think a simple way is bookmark, just bookmarking your profile's url then you'll get backlinks to your profile, this will help your profile being crawled by google.

So you are saying that these backlinks will get found. Is there a time frame or instant?

Within 48 hours my ranking for a website went from no.18 in Google to no.2.

Hope that answers your question of how long it can take. This was with about 16 profiles. Some of these must have been picked up quickly by Google for this change to have taken place so quickly.

Achieving results like this is almost like daylight robbery. How are we getting away with it. Enjoy it whilst it lasts.... that's what I say ;-)
