Default Is pagerank effected by...

So I have a website that is PR3 (focused on keyword #1)

I have another website that is PR2 (focused on keyword #2)

Can I move my PR3 website to PR2 website? Is that going to improve/ruin my rankings?

Should I include a backlink of PR2 site in my PR3 site?

These 2 keywords are in same niche, but are not related.

It's kind of like

make money online and home based business

All the incomming links to both sites are super relevant, and one of the sites is #5 on google for the keyword I was targeting. But should I include a backlink? I am trying to get that keyword #2 (PR2) site top of google ASAP, so should I include a backlink in the PR3 Site (which is already on top of google)

Any help would be appreciated.

Keep in mind that pagerank and your ranking are not the same, and as you change content around, you may not always get the same result you have now.

PHP Link Directory Script - a great addition to ANY website and much more than just a directory.
phpLD Templates - lots of templates to choose from by many great designers
phpLD Mods - Add features to your directory to make it stand out
phpLD Forum - learn and discuss how to run a profitable directory

Be careful not to mess up what you have now. Do you think that if you move PR3 site to PR2 site you will have a PR5 site? I would not take a chance because you are risking to ruin what you have now.

I think you first need to determine what it is you need to do in order to increase your rankings...

Go to Nichewatch.com, sign up for a free account, and run a query on your anchor text and url. Lets say I was competing for "paintball guns" and my website was Spyder Paintball Guns & Tippmann Paintball Guns.

Nichewatch will analyze the top 20 competitors and let me know why they are beating me.

In this example, if jerry wants to increase his sites ranking his site is losing for many reasons. One is his title tag, the other is his description and content in the body of his page. Jerry could modify his title tag to be closer to the top 3. He could also check their descriptions and keyword density. Usually after those changes are made you might gain a few spots. Then the last step is building links to your site with the correct anchor text.

Although combining your sites backlinks would give you more page rank, you would be better off linking from 1 site with the targeted anchor text link for your money phrase that you want, and also building links on other sites.

The main thing at this point is to determine why your competition is beating you, and that is where nichewatch can help. It isnt always 100% accurate, but most of the time it is pretty close.

Hope that helps!

why you want to do this? ishanoni? are they similar keywords?
if you move your two site and to become one bigger site,
will it benefit for your visitors? If the answer is yes, then
you may. And if the answer is "no" then I will rather leave them
alone since you are building site for *visitors* not just the search engines.

And Google does not rely on the value of Page Rank to rank your site it's simply
a myth.
