Ok I have set up 2 adword campaigns and i have had nothing but 1 click and only 5 impressions whats up with that??? i have highly researched my keywords and i have made compelling ads and still no impressions or clicks. 1 product i am marketing is brand new so i thought it was simply because no one was searching for the product so just for test i added words that i know get searched daily...and still no impressions. the other is an old product still no impressions my account passed the review and is good to go...whats wrong?? |

DO you really research your keywords? Better you double check on that.. And you also should double check your sentence on your ads to make it converts and get clicks. |

How much are you bidding? How many keywords are in each ad group? What is your quality score? What is the competition like?

ok on the new product i am the #1 advertiser there is some competition but all of my landing pages and blogs are in 1-10 (except for the 9th spot), my keywords are all highly targeted "buying keywords" as well as a few broad keywords (just for test). i can understand the product name not getting any searches but the broader terms i dont understand. oh yeah the quality score on all but 2 of my keywords are 10/10 the other 2 are 8/10. all of the spelling is cool, and my competition aint even running ads(except for this one guy but it redirects to some other product). anyway i am new to adwords so i really think the problem lies in the bidding price, as i am having a hard time to figure out exactly how that system works. maybe someone could clarify that for me. im lost on how adwords chooses your position? what if im the only 1 running ads shouldn't my ads be 1 penny(0.1)? if i set adwords to bid no higher than a certain price how will i know if that price is too low?? im just dumbfounded on that type of stuff(notice i didnt ask for anything that will give your secrets away, just on the basics..lol which i guess aren't to basic for me..hehe). |

> im lost on how adwords chooses your position? Watch for good explanation of the system > what if im the only 1 running ads shouldn't my ads be 1 penny(0.1)? No. You don't know if you are the only one bidding on keywords for one thing. For another, your actual CPC is dependent on your ad quality, your bid as well as the bid and quality of competitors. You could be the only one bidding on a keyword but if your quality is poor, Google can still ask to pay $1. > how will i know if that price is too low?? What position are you getting at that price? What position do you want? What is Adwords telling you about your quality and price they want you to pay for that quality? |
