Default How to find REAL Google (other search engine) search data?

An example would be best here. What many people don't realize is that keyword results reported by Google keyword tool (and most other tools for that matter) are not reporting "absolute" numbers. For example, if I search the term "posters" I get over 7 million monthly searches. BUT, 7 million searches are NOT for the term "posters" even though this is what Google reports. The 7 million is comprised of "vintge posters", "movie posters", "old posters", etc , etc you get the picture. So, my question is, HOW do I find the REAL number of searches for "posters"? I tried using quotes in Google keyword tool but it doesn't make a difference. Can any other tools do this?

I probably can't give you exactly what you are looking for but Google Trends can work pretty good:
Google Trends: vintage posters, old posters

PHP Link Directory Script - a great addition to ANY website and much more than just a directory.
templates for phpLD - phpLD Templates (hundreds!)
Article Directory Script - Video Directory Script

You have to understand how to use the Google KW tool to get the most out of it. That's as close to "real" numbers as you will get. Other services provide stats based on a fraction of the search market, and Google doesn't share absolute numbers with outsiders.

I guess you have to mention context while searching. If you search for a generic term, that's what you will get. Context sensitive search can give any search engine an idea about what results to deliver.

Under the Match Type column, select "Exact." Also keep in mind that these results include Google AND Google search partners.

We'll if you're such an expert "You have to understand how to use the Google KW tool ", then enlighten me, answer my question, hence USING the Google KW tool , HOW to do what I originally asked??

Use any example, such as "Real Estate", Google says 50 million searches a month, BUT that's NOT how many searches were for "Real Estate". So the $10,000 question is how many of these were for JUST "real estate"??
