I made $1,316.50 in revenue.

Here's my expense..

I used Yahoo PPC.

Keeping my fingers crossed for now... let's hope this continues...

I am finding it interesting that there seems to be different demographics who use specific search engines for search.

I've read where some products convert better in MSN and/or Yahoo than Google. Don't forget what you did and if it's successful, keep doing it.

Regardless, ramp it up and keep testing would be my advice. Shoot for more big days.

There are 2 tips I'd share.

First, use a landing page. Second, split test EVERYTHING, esp. your landing page & your offers.

Hopefully this is consistent and I'll break 5 figures a day soon.

I thought I was the top affiliate for the day but my AM tells me someone is doing 6 figures a day. BASTARD! NVM... I'll reach that soon

This is a very easy conclusion: Too many newbies used Google Adwords and wasted a lot of money before they ever see income.

MSN and Yahoo provides a cheaper avenue to 'learn' and 'make mistakes'.

Google CAN give you a higher ROI but then the cost of reaching a high ROI can be expensive too. Or, you must be an expert in finding the right keywords.

Agreed that Yahoo and MSN are lower cost avenue for newbie to test on their campaign with lower cost. If the campaign fail, the amount of money one lost will also be lower compare to the same campaign at Google.

Heck yeah man! I'm trying to master Yahoo for the past week so your post definitely inspired me! I appreciate you posting it.

And I would also like to ask if anybody has good keyword tips for Yahoo. Here's why I ask...

I used to start with advanced match but I would get those crappy impressions from Yahoo partner sites (even with content turned off) so I switched to standard match... and my impressions bit the dust.

I am also trying to keep my keywords as relevant as possible so my list isn't huge yet. Is that where I'm going wrong?

I appreciate any insights and again thanks for the kick butt story and keep it up!

Do you use your own landing pages or do you take the landing page html code from the cpa offers and put that on your web site?

Just one important thing for anyone about to rush out and copy Johnson.

You NEED TO KNOW this...

Remember, most PPC networks require settlement after 30 days.

And many CPA networks don't pay out for 60 days.

So, if you're spending $250 a day, like the OP is...you'd better make sure you can cover the $7,500 Ad spend for the first month...because it'll be another 30 days before you get your CPA cheque...

Don't get burned, OK?

I would be interested to know the type of offers as well. I do well with submits but have not had much luck with free trial offers yet. I'm sure there's a wrong ingredient somewhere. Just have to find it.

Remember, most PPC networks require settlement after 30 days. And many CPA networks don't pay out for 60 days. So, if you're spending $250 a day, like the OP is...you'd better make sure you can cover the $7,500 Ad spend for the first month...because it'll be another 30 days before you get your CPA cheque...
