Yes, that will hurt for sure, However, If you can get mixture of high PR/low PR domain, that will be fine, there will be no issues..... However, if you get more links lower PR domains, that will be risky.... you may loss your PR.....

Linking out to a site with lower page rank than yourself will not adversely affect your rankings. However, do be sure to only link out to quality websites, and even better if they are of the same theme or authority websites. "Linking out to bad neighbourhoods will lower your trust level" That statement is nothing to do with page rank and everything to do with linking out to spammy sites and sites with a bad reputation. Do be careful who you link to but I would not use Page Rank as a basis for placing links on your site. (unless you are doing it simply for their PR) |

If it is relevant, don't worry, just don't overdo it

linking out to lower PR sites absolutely will NOT hurt your own site. however, it WILL help the site you're linking to, as you'll be flowing your higher PR to the lower PR site thereby boosting it's PR. |

If it is just linking to your website that is great. A link is better than no link. But if you are linking to them then like said before you are sending your juice to your possible competitor.

Try to exchange links with relative PR or more so that it don't effect your PR even if its not doing any good for you. If you are linking to some low PR sites then try to link some high good PR sites as a balance. Thanks Webmatic |
