Basically if I have $300 budget to buy solid respectable backlink for SEO purposes - what's the best bet?
I know Yahoo Directory is good place. But wonder whats other choices might be.

Gleb,
Personally I would use that $300 for several services.

* MyArticleNetwork - $47.00
* SENuke - $127.00
* Joseph Then WSO - $17.00
* Angelas Backlinks Pack - $5.00
* Pay some $100.00 (that you trust) to do many of these postings for you

There goes approx $300 budget, give a try for one month and if it works out great then you should be able to easily reinvest the following months + make a profit..

It's an idea anyways..

James

I agree that you should spread that $300 out to get a lot of backlinks instead of paying for just one.

To answer your question, I would vote for yahoo. Pays for itself with the traffic from the directory alone, not to mention the super highly trusted backlink.

Will be the next authority article directory. Come take a look around. Submit and Publish your own articles.
200,000+ Articles, 48,000+ Authors, Articles indexed in Google in under 1 minute

HI

If I was going to spend $300 on building my backlinks I would do the following..

20 articles on the topic of my site.. at a cost of $5 per articles then submit those 20 articles to as many article directories as you can.

Total cost... $100

100 bookmarks.... $5

100 blog comment postings... $30

Spend some money getting links in sigs in forums that relate to your site.

Also buy some directory links...

Many ways to spend $300 to get heaps of backlinks.

Thx
Tom

For $300 you can outsource your link building to the Philippines and receive 40 hours of work from a virtual employee!

If you step up to full time work it only costs $3.95 per hour

At least this is the case through RemoteWorkmate.com

Resell Virtual Assistant Services
***WF EXCLUSIVE *** Philippines Virtual Assistant from $3.95 per hour
Quote "WFAUG10" for 1 week VA Services FREE with any full time monthly package.

Nice one James. This is pretty much exactly what I came in to post I'd disagree with MyArticleNetwork and say you can probably better spent that $47 but it's much the same thing.

Bottom line, please don't spend $300 on a single backlink when you can get lots for the same money.

I just got 30 PR 7-9 backlinks for $25. That's what forums like DP are for. PLENTY of people offering link building.

$300 for ONE link? No thanks. Seriously, for $300 i have MANY people working a month or two and i'd rank me several sites PLUS add some articles/lenses...all outsourced. Dont spend $300 on one link please.

Thanks everyone for replies.
So we have so far:

1 vote for Yahoo directory
10 times as many votes for mixed bag of services.

I already have about 2000 pure organic backlinks from others at various PR's (up to PR7). So adding another 100 to it won't make much difference in the eyes of Google.
That's why i am after proven and trusted quality.

Or so i think?

Gleb

I agree with Bob, Yahoo directory would be the one I would choose and for the very reasons he mentioned.

Yes you could go with other link building plans as others mentioned, but i'm assuming that you are looking for quality and not multiple low level link sources.

It cracks me up what people will spend $300 for!
I would definitely be spending the money for Angela and Paul's respective Backlinks packages and writing articles myself.

some of the PR9 i got is moodle.org, flickr, excite, worldcat

Way more PR8 and PR7 links of course.

I also sometimes use Fast Blog Finder, see my review here: http://www.1up-seo.com/fast-blog-finder and let 'er rip for a while and do some comments on blogs myself. But seriously, $300 could get you VERY far if you go over to d****l p****t forum in the "services" section. I cringe at the thought someone spending $300 for one link at yahoo ;/

Well, then even if root domain is PR9 but outgoing link is from some deep PR1 page - it still counts only as PR1 backlink?
Or i am missing something?

Well if you already got huge of backlinks (as you mentioned) so you should try to get a listing on yahoo for sure or if you are trying to build more backlinks then go for PR 7,8,9 only.
Also if you think Angela backlinks can help you out, then you can try it as well
Thanks
