Google Page Ranking Suddenly Dropping?

Ok bare with me im kinda knew, my website was about 2 months old, I finally did enough work for it to reach google page 1, its been there for the past maybe 2 weeks or so, than all of a sudden today it dropped to page 8.

The only two recent things I did was i did a mass directory submission a few days ago, and last night night i uploaded a change to the page by implementing a iframe into it. Could this have ****ed up my rankings?

I was thinking maybe a competitor tried to do something, but than i guess my site wouldnt be indexed? What should I do to get back to page 1?

Do 15-20 article sumbissions as well as 20-25 blog commentings and do some social bookmarkings too, you will be up soon.

However, On 23-June-2009, Google had updated PR, Hope you are aware of it too

You answered your own question.

That's the reason why your rankings will fluctuate. You get a boost for being new content but that goes away and your site or page will sink unless it has good authority links supporting it.

Yes you are right, Me too have got PR4 recently for one of my site which is just 30-40 days old, However, I have to do some more link building work for that inorder to save that PR forever......

you can do linkbuilding and get some quality backlinks, it helps to improve your keyword ranking on search engine results pages
