Default Fancy reducing your Adword costs?

Hi,

I was watching a video recently and it was suggested that if you do a bit of housekeeping with your google adwords account you can cut your ad costs.

Now I do not know if this is true in all cases, but for me it has reduced my bid costs enough to have made it worthwhile.

Say you are prepared to bid 25 cents a click and that is your default setting, well if your actual cost has been 16 cents and you are on the first page, then go into your default bid for that keyword and reduce the default to say 18 or 19 cents.

In my case I have seen my ad costs fall a few more cents when I have done this.

I hope this is easy to follow?

Ian
