Number 1 on my keyword, thanx WF!

I managed to get the number 1 spot with a 3 word keyword among 180,000 other sites within 1 day, not an amazing feat but i'm pretty satisfied as i'm still a seo noob. Learnt all the seo tricks from the gurus here and I would like to say thank you to all the people who has shared their secrets, particularly this section, for the superb info they have provided

I don't believe it either! It was a small writeup for Marty's CPA ninjas actually. the keyword is 'cpa marketing secrets' without the quotes. it does not have much search volume but it just goes to show the advices given here are invaluable.

What I did was to use the keyword as the first 3 words of my blog post title, first 3 words of my permalink, first 3 words on my post, and first 3 of my meta description.

I did a squidoo lens about 1/2 a day later so it might have helped. I only set it to ping technorati, and probably only tweeted it twice. (as you can see, i've still got much to learn)

Then again, it might not work for a much more competitive keyword. I'm just glad with my results.
