Ezine is the king but, i also like Amazines. I get a lot of traffic from articles i post there.

Depends on what you're targeting - see which directories do best for your chosen niche.

EZA do well for lots of areas but in many instances they won't get ranked anywhere. For instance in lots of technical areas I find articlebase are much better. Just do a little research first.

ezinearticles is probably the best. try submitting also to articlesbase. i've had soem success with them.

You can include articlebase as well. Still, if you need traffic then you should know how to make the contents interesting and the way which can make the visitors follow your link. You can submit numerous articles to highly ranked article directories but you should have quality contents in order to get traffic.

Definitely EZA, Articlesbase and Go Articles. You can also try hubpages and squidoo.

Its really interesting...I often get higher search engine rankings from articlesbase than ezinearticles.

So,

Ezinearticles
Articlesbase
articledashboard
goarticles
ideamarketers

Those are my main 5

I'd submit to 5 or so main ones to get your content out there, and then use an article submitter software to link back to the one with the highest rankings.

Ezinearticles for sure but other 2 are worth submitting your articles as well but obviously ezine is on top and i think so it can drive a huge traffic to your website

I would have to agree - Ezinearticles is good for traffic. THe others don't seem to make a dent whatsoever.

accordiing to my google analytics, and outside of the 3 major search engines delivering traffic, the 4th one is always consistently EZA. it is ezinearticles.com all the way.

For me it is EZA as well as goarticles.
However, I heard there are some issues with goarticles nowadays, but not sure about it.

The sites you have listed are most favoured by Google. There are of course loads more. But Goarticles and Ezine Articles are loved by Google. The reason for this is tha these sites have strict rules but their publication criteria. Like Google, they only allow relevant and authentic content which plays right into the SE's hands.

If you get an article published with them, ensure you include a reference to your site, then your SEO will improve.

As far as i know, ezine drives a huge amount of traffic if your articles is properly SEO optimized.

Ezine is top dog in my books. Articlesbase is pretty awesome as well, namely for the fact that there are a number of Wordpress plugins that pull from it, so they have wider syndication than Ezine in a lot of cases.
