What are the best keyword research tools and why? I have a pretty good handle on researching a long tail for article marekting but I'm looking for a good tool for PPC... Any suggestions and why do you like that tool thanks in advance |

My favorite is adwords suggestion tool .. now that it actually shows the number of actual searches ...... I heard "Marketing Samurai" is another great tool you should check out .. |

I think keyword elite and google's keywords tool. With keyword elite you can check ppc competition, finding profitable markets with just some clicks, etc..

Hi DNAforAbundance, If you are doing PPC on AdWords, there is no better source of data than Google AdWords Keyword Research Tool. In addition you should do some competitive research and I would recommend SpyFu. They will show you who your competition is, what keywords they are using, their budgets, average bids and their ad text. |

I would also suggest you install the new AdCenter Addon for Excel 2007. This little tool has proven to be quite useful. KeywordSpy is another one that may give you some ideas, but everything has to be tested. Dont get excited about something you see in a keyword tool until you test it and see some results for yourself.
