I think keyword elite and google's keywords tool. With keyword elite you can check ppc competition, finding profitable markets with just some clicks, etc..

Hi Adam,

<shameless plug> I do keyword research. PM the details of your project and I'll give you a quote.</shameless plug>

You really should start a new thread rather than hijack this one.

I usually get pressed for starting a whole thread for a simple question. So I found a relevant thread.

Hi DNAforAbundance,

If you are doing PPC on AdWords, there is no better source of data than Google AdWords Keyword Research Tool.

In addition you should do some competitive research and I would recommend SpyFu. They will show you who your competition is, what keywords they are using, their budgets, average bids and their ad text.

I guess it's okay as long as it's related to the thread.

Are you looking for PPC keywords as this is very different from SEO or article marketing keywords? Though, I think you get a lot of synergy when you combine PPC ads with SEO strategies.

I would also suggest you install the new AdCenter Addon for Excel 2007. This little tool has proven to be quite useful. KeywordSpy is another one that may give you some ideas, but everything has to be tested. Dont get excited about something you see in a keyword tool until you test it and see some results for yourself.
