Hi,

My apology it they sound too basic.

1) How to make a page/post No follow? How about a link?

i found following piece of information
How to Nofollow a Link

Is it right way to do it? how about a Affiliate link than?

2) Which are the pages should be No follow in a blog?

3) How to verify if i have done it in right manner? when i see in Seoquake link does not seem to change to no follow

You have to add rel="nofollow" tag to your coding...

Comments shoudl be NOFOLLOW inorder to ignore spammers...

You have to view source and locate for you link and check where you have rel="nofollow" or not...

Also i do not want some pages to get indexed. Any solution?

Just read an interesting article, sorry I can't post a link to it but basically said google changed their opinions on nofollow vs follow because they realized it really didn't matter.

Anyway, you may want to research this a little more before trying to make everything nofollow (which they follow anyway).

There are many plugins for wordpress which convert links for tag and archive pages, etc to nofollow automatically. I never used any but you should find them by searching for "nofollow" in the plugin directory.

Have to agree with the other posters, there are tons of free plugins available for WordPress which make "no follow" an easy choice. Just look for some SEO plugins and pick one that suits your needs.

wordprss by default is no follow, to make it do follow you need to add a plugin
