Default Direct Linking In Adwords ?

I've just set up 2 campaigns to run on the content network. I'm direct linking to the merchant. I have set the ad display and destination url to advertiser.com but edited the keyword dest url with my affiliate link. I'm bidding pretty high aswell but i still seem to get no impressions - i'm thinking that my ad is not showing because there must be other ads with the same dispaly url active ?

any ideas or advice on how to get this going ?

Could be.

Could be your ads are still under review.

Like Lucid said, could be that your ads are still under review, though that'd show in your adwords interface. If the status is "running" or "active", you need to either find other keywords or bid higher, as you're probably running in a competitive space.

Always make your own landing page.

But make sure you split test.

Get a generic domain for all your products and use that as display. Your destination will be generic domain.com/product with a redirect link to your actual aff link. If you use the product site as display, yes it will often get kicked out.

You don't have to have a landing page on content network if you don't want to,
