Is there any new ways to get backlinks?

Friends, I heard the following methods are used by guys to get backlinks,
Apart from these, is there any other ways to get backlinks?
1. Blog comments
2. Forums postings
3. Social bookmarks
4. Directory Submissions
5. Article submissions

Don't forget well placed internal links. They work as well.

New ways?

Have you heard of Angela's Backlinks or Paul's Links? Both of these packages - at a pittance - have soared my sites to top ranks. I've even seen serious improvement in a site that has ridiculous competition. You really, really should snag a month's worth and see what they do for you. Believe me you will be completely impressed with the results. And the first month is completely free. You literally cannot lose.

The methods you mentioned are for sure great and effective but you can even buy high PR backlinks or exchange links with high PR or similar PR sites so those are great backlinks as well and can increase your traffic and PR easily

There are better methods than angela and Paul... Simply create web 2.0 pages like Squidoo and hubpages and promote them. You can do Search Engine Submission, RSS feed submission and social bookmarking for these pages. Having backlinks on these pages will definitely help you increase your SERP.
