How long doea it take to get a site ranked high

I have been working on having my site on a high Page Rank for over six months now yet am still on PR1.

How long does it take to get my site on a PR 3, am not using a very competitive keywords.

How many times do i need to mention my key word in the body of my site.

- get backlinks... alot of'em
- your keyword is probably something that is ultra-competitive, and if so... see #1

According to Matt Cutts - PR is not that important. Just concentrate in getting high up in the SERPs. Then you have to focus on getting your meta description written nicely so that it can attract searchers. Then make sure your site is good enough to convert.

lol, i wouldn't worry about PR one bit. I've got a new site on page one of google and it's definitely pr 0

It can take few days or months or years as well if you don't work on it. Build some backlinks and do social bookmarking and icrease your unique visitors and you will surely get a high PR on next update

I got a PR 3 in just 10 days after i started my blog and i was glad that google updated PR in that month.

why are you worried about page rank? I guess you should be worried about your earnings. All the same, you will lots of link juice to increase your page rank and eanrings. Also, add more quality content to your sites.

If you are considering PR then make sure that you are using the same anchor text in your website as you are using in Blog commenting and forum posting or any other techniques. Get quality links, send email to webmasters and never buy links.
