I just want to quickly share with you something you might be familiar with but I wanted to remind you taking action is the key.
Now I am sure everyone who has bought a "keyword rich domain" name know the benefits of being ranked on Google. (Now thanks to a certain warriors WSO, the RAS Model I am having success) 1. I basically researched on several businesses who were advertising on Yellow Pages and using Google Adwords.. (By the way personally when I get my clients I always use Google Adwords. I mean lets face it these businesses who are spending so many $$$$ on Google Adwords must be eager to get on the first page of Google if they are spending so much money). 2. I decided to focus on one main category. E.g computer repair. So what I did first was research on the business.. Is it listed on the first page of Google on the natural search results? (If it was already on Google for its main keyword then there is no point contacting the company) 3. Next I decided to buy a keyword rich domain. For example, if I was going to focus on "Computer Repair In Liverpool" then I would buy a keyword rich domain name. ComputerrepairInLiverpool.co.uk (which at the time of writing is available) So let's firstly type in "Computer Repair In Liverpool" on Google WITHOUT quotes. http://i43.tinypic.com/2lnzl75.jpg Now as you can see there are just over 146,000 results here. Now if we type this keyword WITH Quotes we get just over "1000" results. http://i44.tinypic.com/htwkrs.jpg This means people are "targeting" this keyword and it would be easy to rank on the first page if we set up a site today based on content and keywords of "computer repair in Liverpool". 4. Next I simply set up the domain name and the website. (Now I am not going to point to my actual example website due to this forums rules but if you want to see it you can PM me) Now I used a simple Wordpress type of website that you can install from your host. I use Hostgator. Once you have your site set up, make sure your title incorporates your keywords. E.g. "computer repair in Liverpool" "computer repair Liverpool". I simply set up basic content, about page and contact page. Now this website is now ready to be "rented" to the Local business owner or you can charge a one time fee of $499.00 easily. 5. So How did I manage to get it on the first page in a short space of time? I used Social Bookmarking websites. I used the following to submit my website. Digg StumbleUpon Gumtree Propeller 6) In just a day my website now sites on the first page of Google for the main keyword and I am going to be either "renting" this out to the relevant business based in the location. I will be contacting several business owners tomorrow and hopefully close the deal. Simple. All you gotta do is take action guys and make money

I did a comparison on cost and found adwords to be $1.30 per click and Yellow Pages Online was $6.15.
The thing to know is every one is googling so put your efforts there! |

Oh and do not forget the keyword search tool.
https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal According to this - the keyword "computer repairs in Liverpool" is searched 70 times a month.. This is a great selling point when it comes to closing the deal...

Businesses are spending too much money on Google Adwords.. I contacted several today and most were clueless and amazed when I started talking about SEO and article marketing. | |

Thanks for the heads up. I myself try to get a good domain but approx. all of the keyword rich domains are already taken so i try to find the nearest one in that case but i am afraid if i can really beat the competitors who got the most richest domain for the keyword. I am still confident that i can do it

Imran,
I have literally just finished that guide today and have secured 3 domains which I'll be ranking. It's great that the guide targets the UK too! If you want to knock heads and swap ideas etc, send me a pm and we can hopefully make some good money from this model. I'm tax registered as of next wednesday and then it's full-time for me from there forward! Alex |

keyword rich domain itself cuts down half of the work... Because you can see first page of google having most of the keyword rich domains.

Great idea!
Do you find that it is hard to get traffic with Google Business Listings crowding the top of the search? Please keep us posted on the progress of the site

I have a question about Key Word Rich Domains (if you don't mind me asking on this thread). I have one that gets about 90,000 searches a month but has over 8,300,000 million in competition (for the keyword domain in quotes).
Is this even worth it to optimize to get on the first page of google? Yes...I have the keyword rich domain...but thats a heck of alot of competition. I'm just not sure how quickly I can move up with this keyword rich domain.....when the competition is this high. Thoughts? Chris Negro |
