Hey warriors, I haven't been around for a while but I just though I might share my little experience. I am working on a brand new niche and was creating some web 2.0 for back links. So I did a search for my keywords and to my surprise my brand new hub is on the first page of Google out of 3.8 million search results.. Here is what I did: I added two text modules 2 photo module the comment module and the rss module which I extracted from ezinearticles (for the specified category) |

I have had the same results but I am always suspicious. How long will it last? I am deeply suspicious about hubpages. as I set up Hubpages I am thinking "They could pull the plug at anytime" But............... while they think I am providing content they want they make me rank very highly. But remember this - THEY ARE IN CONTROL. For some insignificant and nonsensical reason they can decide you are the devil and shut your hubpage up. The End, Nada.Nichts usw. You are absolutely right. However, I am only using them as backlinks. Currently my website is above the hub page I just created in the listing. Quote:

That is great. I dont do a lot for backlinking but this sounds good. Did you do anything special, like specific keyword research, join groups like on squidoo, etc?

Hi, yesacpow. Quote:
content almost always gains an inflated rank. It's likely your hub will dance around for a few days/weeks before it settle in it's true position. If that Hub is sending you decent amounts of targeted traffic, you should consider doing some backlinking to it before the ranking drops. -Paul | |
